  • First of all, we boil the main product - lentils. Pour the washed legume culture with one and a half glasses of water and cook for 15-20 minutes after boiling in salted water, stirring constantly.
  • Cooking frying. To do this, chop onions, carrots and garlic and fry in hot vegetable oil for 15-20 minutes over moderate heat, periodically stirring all the ingredients together.
  • Season the softened vegetables with tomato paste (can be replaced with ketchup) and season with chili, paprika, black pepper and salt (½ teaspoon is enough).
  • We knead the "minced meat". In a deep container of a suitable size, combine boiled lentils, frying, an egg, chopped herbs, flour and a teaspoon of salt.
  • We mix all the components well, the mass should turn out to be sticky.
  • Form patties with our hands and roll each in breadcrumbs.
  • Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the blanks on both sides for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.

  1. Pour the lentils into a colander and rinse thoroughly under running water. We transfer to a saucepan, fill with water in a percentage ratio of 1: 2 and bring to a boil over low heat.

  3. We prepare the frying. Grate onions and carrots on a coarse or medium grater and fry in a little olive oil until golden brown with the addition of smoked tofu and garlic, passed through a press, for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Carefully drain all excess moisture from the lentils and combine with browned vegetables. Add one chicken egg, salt and 1-2 tablespoons of bread crumbs to the same container - mix thoroughly until smooth.
  5. With wet hands we form cutlets, about 1.5 centimeters thick and roll in breadcrumbs.
  6. When all the blanks are ready, put them on a baking sheet, pre-covered with a sheet of parchment paper for baking (it is recommended to lightly grease with oil).
